About Hill

Call me Hill. Everyone does! Because although my title is director and I work in Hollywood, most people find when they meet me that I’m the furthest thing from a Hollywood diva.

I attribute this to the fact that as Director of Warner Bros. Studios Special Events, my first priority is making my clients and their guests feel comfortable. My second is assuring that everyone has fun. Fun when they are working with me to create the event and fun when they are at your event.

Every year I produce more than 250 events both on the lot in Burbank and at outside venues. Our clients range from large corporations such as Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Yale University to non-profits such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the EMA Awards. We also produce a lot of events for private individuals who have always dreamed of a Hollywood wedding, bar mitzvah, anniversary or special birthday. And of course, we do myriad entertainment events from film premieres and awards to celebrity bashes!

People say I make dreams come true which I guess is true, but I like to think that instead of a magic wand I use good old-fashioned experience and an eye for design to make my client's vision a reality. My years as the owner/operator of the Orange County catering firm, Cuisine/Cuisine, and then as owner of Mixed Grille Production, gave me the professional foundation I needed to take me to the next phase of my event planning career. In 1988 I began working with Warner Bros. as the owner of Mixed Grille as the studio’s outside producer and caterer. Five years later I joined the company as its in-house special event department.

As an inductee to the BizBash Hall of Fame, winner of three BizBash Style Awards and as a popular speaker at many industry events, many people have been asking me to share some of these award-winning ideas down on “paper” so in April I began Hill on Hollywood

This blog is the next phase of a long and rewarding career; a phase that includes you, the reader, in my journey. I’m glad you are here for the ride!
