Music is always an important element of an event but for the Season 5 Wrap Party of Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew, it was THE most important element. For it, I put the DJ in the door frame up high over the dance floor framed by 18-foot trees up lit in green.
DJ Choc is the best. We love him because he can mash anything and make it sound great. Choc has played with 50 Cent, Alicia Keyes and a host of others. At this event he did the job - when the show stopped shooting and the crew came over, it didn't take them long to start dancing.
We had a large white dance floor down lit with break ups of deep red, blue and fuchsia. All of the guests circled around the floor while the crews did what they do best. Even Lil Mama got into it. Forget the competition -- you should have seen them mixing it up with dancers from the other teams. Check it out at the winner's web site -- Poreotix.
